Today one of my greatest heroes turns 30!
One of my fondest childhood memories was racing home after school to get in front of the TV by 3pm tuned into WFLD 32 to watch HE-MAN & The Masters Of The Universe!
With a peanut butter & jelly sandwich and a glass of Nestle Quik, I'd watch every day Mon thru Fri. I was captivated by the various characters. Their different looks, abilities, and the way they interacted with one another. All of the elements that would one day draw me towards the world of professional wrestling. I liked that they were all bigger than life, powerful characters. I wanted to grow up to be big like He-Man.
He-Man had a major influence on me, and is a major part of the foundation that is The T3 Universe. So Happy Birthday old friend. Thanks for the inspiration!
